Samurai Champloo

Fuu, a 15-year-old girl, worked in a tea house until it was destroyed after a three-way fight between Mugen the vagabond, Jin the wandering samurai, and the bodyguards of the Daikan’s son from that town. At the end of the fight, Mugen and Jin are arrested. Fuu helps them escape in exchange for helping her find the “samurai who smells like sunflowers.” Despite agreeing to the deal, Mugen and Jin are always trying to end each other in an almost professional rivalry. Both samurai have a blurred past.

Thus, the story tells of their travels between paths and dark passages and how they fix the trouble they get into. Samurai Champloo employs a mix of historical settings from the Edo Period, with modern styles and references. It incorporates various elements of modernity, especially hip-hop cultures, such as rap, graffiti, Adidas and Converse logos, baseball, and references to the atomic attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

There are almost no plotholes, an excellent plot, and amazing fights. Fullmetal Alchemist is about the story of two boys, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric who did the taboo of human transmutation. Tower of God is an action-adventure anime based on the webtoon Tower of God. if you haven’t heard about webtoons, it is a web novel based in Korea. The webtoon of Tower of God recently returned for further volumes. Hence, we should be getting another season of it too. Tower of God is the story of a young boy, Bam, who opened the gates of the Tower that grants wishes by himself. Termed as Irregulars, Bam was not chosen by the Tower and has shaken the very foundation by setting his foot inside it. The anime adaptation of the webtoon isn’t quite liked by the fans, but if you haven’t read the webtoon, then it should be a decent experience for you.

As a demon slayer, Tanjiro travels constantly and faces powerful demons. The series gets into the action very quickly, and coupled with the gorgeous visuals, Demon Slayer is a great anime for everyone.

There, she runs into her polar opposite, the beautiful and talented Kazumi Amano, with whom Noriko is forced to work.

Despite being a typical «humans versus aliens» story, Gunbuster clearly shows the lengths to which humanity will go to survive. Furthermore, importance is assigned to both character development and mecha fights. As a result, every action is set up with real tension and high stakes while also carrying the emotional weight of the characterization and conflicts.

The pacing of Gunbuster is perfect, as it zips right along without any scene feeling unimportant. To tie it all up, the show’s climax, along with its ending, is compelling, with the final episode being nothing short of moving. The story’s unmatched, and with blood-pumping fights, Gunbuster is a must-watch underrated gem.
